I've been in NZ more than three months.I've made good progress in vocabulary and grammar,but my listening and speaking ability still bad.They are the biggest problem at the moment.
i've had a tutorial with my teacher many times ,but i feel my progress isn't obvious . I 've been worrying about it because i've asked a lot of people.They can understand Telly programs more than fifty percent when they have been arrival NZ only two months.
What should i do now ? I've tried many ways.like listening to the radio ,Telly news , ESL and the other websites . I'm always distracted easily because i can't understand what they are talking about.

It was the first snow in my life
My family are enjoying warm wind and sunbathing in the Northern Hemisphere and I m enjoying snow in the Southern Hemisphere.These are very different experiences.
According to my host family ,the last snow in C.H.C.H was many years ago.who also felt just a little bit opportunety this year .Of course , I hope they were wrong. I've been looking forward to snow so much .
I'had never seen snow before today. It was snowing heavily today .We saw rain that went from raining to snowing.Our mind were from doubting to looking like,after that make ture,finally we were exciting.All Taiwanese took a lot of photos with the snow .Most of us saw snow for the first time.These are unforgattable experiences for us.They are going to be good memories for ever.
Am i really exciting ? Yes and no.i have a little sadness as well because my darling didn't share this moment with me . I hope to share every romantic moment with her.
*In fact my darling left me a long time ago and the next one has not appear yet. ^﹏^

Hometown
Luye is my hometown. I lived there till i graduated from high school.Luye is on the east coast of TW.There's a lot of nature around and it is a quiet village.There aren't robbers or bunglars in my hometown.I've never heart of kidnapping or any other crimes.It was a wonderful childhood in my memories.
Luye has lots of mountains and one river.We usually swam in the river.In the city ,we always bought fruit in the store,but in my hometown ,we ate wild fruit from trees.There were good memories.
When I was a university student,I left there and went to Taipei city to study,since then,I have never stayed long in my hometown again.I hopeone day,maybe to retire.I can go back there to revisit my childhood memories.
Nowadays,Luye has already become an urbanised town,Everything has changed with neonlights,sparkling streets and more crime.This is good progress for our society and our country,but maybe we have lost lots of worthy things we'll never know.

Mascot
I've never worn any mascot including jewellery ,good luck rings,watches,earings and charms because I am not superstitious or religions.Maybe one day,i'll believe Christ .The reason is I hear my host family pray every dinner time.They always appreciate God and are grateful for everything that they have.They have appreciated of their life .
My sports bottle is my favorite thing.This was a gift from my credit card bonus points.I didn't realise before,how useful it would be.I take it when i swam,jog and go mountain hiking.Wherever and whenever I am,It is like a part of my body.
At the moment,its surface looks old and scratched because lots of paint has come off.But it doesn't matter.I just love t because it's old.It is following me continuously and with a bit of luck.

Disaster
China has had a disaster .It was an earthquake.My brother is staying in China at the moment.According to TV news.So far,there are fifty thousand people dead and more than one hundred thousand missing in this disaster.This is a big news all over the world.
Fortunately,my brother is safe.God bless him.In recent years,there have been a lot of disasters.According to many scientists,natural disasters will increase compared to twenty,fifty or one hundred years ago.We ill experience extreme conditions,earthquakes avalanches,floods,volcanoes and who knows.
Anyway ,I hope to have a healthy earth.Don't make pollution anymore and we must save resources as much as possible .Don't waste resources,because the Earth is unique.
